Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and sugar. Sugar promotes fatigue, increases pain and disturbs sleep. The initial withdrawal of these substances will make your symptoms worse, however, you will experience positive improvement after that.

Do not eat wheat and brewer's yeast after your symptoms have improved.
